Cam to Scan in detail.

Sloping lines are a side-effect of photographing buildings in particular. It is often impossible to choose the camera’s position in such as way that vertical lines in an image are parallel. The following example shows this quite clearly, where the tall buildings in the photo have a distorted perspective.

Example

To correct this with Cam to Scan all you have to do is define the four corner points – the two lower ones are at the corners of the image, while the two points on the upper edge are shifted inwards to counteract the distortion. After the correction the image looks far more natural.

Example

Something that you could achieve with a conventional image-editing program at best with a lot of effort can be done by Cam to Scan in a few minutes.
